This is me, a short time before Michael came to Texas.  I am in the fifth grade classroom that I called home for nine years, at Valley Ridge Elementary School. Previous to Valley Ridge, I taught fifth grade at Garden Ridge Elementary for three years. Currently, I work for Smarthinking.com, where I am an E-structor. Laugh a Little, Learn a Lot, Live Long!

Here are a few of my favorite things:

• Jesus!

• Michael Patrick Gardner.

• The color purple.

• Reading on the couch, sitting next to Michael, while he is reading, also.

• Dogs (especially red poodles named Rosie)

• Holding hands with Michael while we stroll through the park, taking Rosie for a walk.

• Being 52 and feeling 31.

• Doing anything with Michael.

• Believing we can do anything, as long as we have each other.

And, I absolutely love books...in case there are those of you who didn't know :)
